#9 I am thankful for these bad boys....

For day #9 I am thankful for these bad boys....aka my new cute plaid rain boots. Yesterday wasn't really a good day. It was really bad weather up in Rexburg and they sidewalks all over campus had about 1 1/2 inches of pure slush. Well knowing me I always have to make things complicated and not go according to plan and I fell down...TWICE...as I was walking to my car. Well lets just say I was soaked and I hurt my knee and ankle really bad. I have a big bruis on my knee and it is killing me.
So I went and bought me a pair of rain boots to keep out the water and have some traction. THey are really cute and I can wear them with anything...I can't wait to wear them tomorrow!

#8 I am thankful for...

For day #8 I decided that I am thankful for a WINTER COAT!! I am thankful for this because I am at school in Rexburg, ID as we speak in the freezing cold literally it is like 25 F and the wind is blowing so hard and it is SNOWING!! The snow is sticking and there is about an inch and a half on the ground!
Rexburg during the winter is also known as "iceberg" because it is so flippin cold. Well here is to a long winter full of cold. Glad I got my winter coat as my constant companion.

#7 I am thankful....

I am thankful for these munchkins....my niece Peyton Mae Smith, and nephew Maden Michael Purcell. They are only 16 days apart. Peyton belongs to my sister Megan and brother in law Jeff and Maden belongs to my brother and sister in law Brian and Celia. They are so cute and I love them very much. I see Maden all the time because he just lives in Idaho Falls but I don't get to see Peyton as much which makes me sad but I love her lots! Peyton was born on November 19, 2009. She is my first niece on my side of the family. She is so stinkin cute and has the greatest smile. I receive pictures and updates constantly from my sister, which I am very thankful for. She definitely has a personality of her own and keeps my sister and brother in law very busy. She will be ONE in less than two weeks and I get to see her in three!

This is my one and only nephew Maden. He is such a joy to have in our family and definitely wears me out when I play with him. He is always on the go and discovering new things. He is such a happy baby and laughs and smiles at everything. He was born on December 5, 2009 and will be a year old in less than month! I can't believe how fast time has flown by.
I love these babies so much and am grateful for their little spirits in my own life. They are the cutest!

For my other family I am thankful for my mother and father in laws, Brian, Celia, baby Maden, Jared, Cindy, Ken, and Sydney. Randy and I have the privilege to live less than a mile from his parents and we get to hang out all the time. They are all such wonderful people. Love you guys!

MY SISTERS!

I am thankful for my two wonderful, beautiful, smart, amazing sisters. My older sister Megan and little sister Mikala are my very good friends. We grew up fighting, loving, and sharing with one another. Now that we are older we are the best of friends. I am very thankful that I was blessed with these wonderful girls as my sisters.

Thankful for day #3

Well now I am all caught up with the posting of something I am thankful for everyday. Today I posted a picture of the temple. This isn't just any temple but it is the temple that I was sealed to my best friend for time and all eternity. It is the Draper Utah temple.
This temple is really special to me because I had a great experience in it in April of 2009. I was at the open house with my friend Megan and I went into the sealing room and looked into the mirrors that go on forever and say myself but I also saw Randy, my husband. Now what makes this such a special and unique experience is the fact that at the time of this experience, Randy was on his mission. It was there that I had the great feeling that I was going to marry him one day! Well it came true and I am so happy it did because I wouldn't have it any other way.
The temple is such a magnificent place because you can do work for the dead, feel great peace, and feel very close to the Lord. I am so grateful that we have temples on Earth today because without them I would not have my husband with me in the next life!

Thankful for day#2

For day #2 I decided to post about my camera(even though this isn't really my kind of camera, I couldn't find a picture of mine). Anyways I love my camera because it captures moments in my life that I will be able to remember for a lifetime.
I used to not be a picture taking fan but I grew up with a friend of mine, Ashley Shippen, that is obessed with taking pictures. So in high school I started to take more and more. I am grateful that today I don't mind taking pictures at all because I get to take pictures of my cute husband, family, nature, or pretty much anything I want. I love being able to look back at old pictures and remember the times I had.

Thankful for day#1

Well I have been reading a lot of blogs lately and I have noticed a trend going on. For the month of November everyday people are posting something they are thankful for. Well I decided to jump on the band wagon and do the same but I am three days behind so I am catching up.
For my day #1 I am thankful for my cellular phone because I live in a different state than all my family and friends that I grew up with. This little device to the left allows and helps me keep in contact with the people I love and miss dearly! I text, call, and send pictures often to share the happenings of my life and their lives. I must say it is a great invention!

This is how I am feeling right now....

This is how I am feeling right now. Let me tell you it is not any fun whatsoever. Last night I started getting a runny nose. I couldn't breathe all last night and snored very loudly. I had a headache about the size of the United States, mucus in my throat, ears that hurt, a sore throat, and felt like I wanted to die.
Well today isn't any better. I still feel like crap and I have a ton of stuff today. So I can't just be lazy I have to do tons and tons of homework, clean my house, do laundry, and dishes all before Monday. Let's just say my Saturday hasn't been the best.
