First E.R. Visit

Last Friday I debuted my first time in the emergency room. Randy and I went to Utah last weekend for my best friends wedding and to visit my family. We got there on Thursday and hung out with family and helped decorate for a wedding reception. My stomach was bothering me a lot and I just thought it was because I hadn't eaten in like seven hours. So I ate a late lunch at about 3:00 and it only got worse from there. It wasn't a normal stomach ache either. It was more my gall bladder area and most of my abdominal area. It seriously felt like something was eating my insides from the inside out. The pain only got worse. Let me just say I had the worse night of my life. I slept maybe a total of two hours, I spent the rest of the night in the bathroom, crying my eyes out, sitting up, stretching out, etc. At about 5:30 in the morning the pain got so bad that Randy decided to take me to an urgent care. Well there were no urgent cares open at that time so we went back to my parents house to wait. Randy decided to call his dad to see what he thought and to tell him about my symptoms and pain level. His dad thought that I was having a gall bladder attack and that I should go to the emergency room.
So Randy and I went to the emergency room got checked in, hooked to a machine, the took some blood to run some test, and then I got an ultrasound. The pain level was at about and 8 out of a 10. Well the diagnosis was what they call gasteritis (not sure of that is spelled right) basically a really swollen stomach that could lead to ulcers. So they gave me some pain medication and I am supposed to take an acid reducer everyday and hopefully it doesn't lead to ulcers.
I am doing much better now a week later but I still have some pain. I am not a fan of the emergency room and wouldn't be sad if I never have to go back again.

My Best Friends Wedding

This past Friday  my best friend married the love of her life Brandon Bush. I have known Brittie for over five years now. I met her in 2007 in a singles ward and we were instant friends. We hung out all the time and and a blast at everything we did. We have been through a lot of things, but things that have only strengthened our friendship. I know Brittie inside and out. She met Brandon last August and they have been inseparable ever since. They make such a cute couple and are perfect for one another. I know that it has been a long road for them to get where they are today but I am so happy for them.
They were married in the the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. I was not only lucky enough to be one of her bridesmaids but I was also able to attend the sealing ceremony. It was very beautiful and the sealer was hilarious. Everything that was said to Brittie and Brandon was perfect for them!
It was kind of a long day for myself because I had been to the emergency room earlier that morning(more details on this in another post) and I was in pain most of the day but there was no way that I was going to miss seeing the happy couple on the happiest day of both of their lives. Randy and I got to the temple at about 2:00. After the sealing we waited on the grounds for pictures and congratulations. Then it was off to the reception in Holladay. It was a beautiful reception with lots of food, family, fun, visiting, dancing, cake, pictures, and even a great slide show. The bride and groom looked very handsome and beautiful.
I am so happy for them and can't wait to have another married couple to hang out with and invite to things. Love you Brittie and Brandon Bush, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
