Spur of the Moment Trip--Montana

On Saturday I was at work and I got a call from a good friend of mine from Montana. She lives in Missoula but she was visiting with her boyfriend in Dillon, Montana for a high school graduation. She wanted to know if Randy and I wanted to come and visit for a few hours. Dillon is only 170 miles from Blackfoot so we thought sure we can go and have dinner, hang out and then come home that night. Well we decided to make it an over night, spur of the moment trip. So we packed our bags and drove the 170 miles and had a great little vacation.
We got our hotel room first then met up with Britten and Joe for dinner. Dillon, Montana is a small town so we went a place called Spanky's Garage. It was really good. After dinner we went and got a treat from Dairy Queen. We drove around for a while and laughed our heads off. We then just hung out and then went to breakfast the next morning. It was great to just have a spur of the moment adventure and to see a very good friend of mine! It was a ton of fun. Randy and I had a great time!

This is where we ate dinner it was so good!

A view of Dillon, Montana. Country which is what
we love!

Last Tuesday I didn't have to go to either school or work which is a very rare occassion. Randy suggested that we go fourwheeling because I won't get to go a lot this summer because of school and work. So we loaded up a fourwheeler on the back of our escape and went for a short and fun ride. Randy and I share something in common that I love. We both love to be outdoors and have a love and appreciation for nature. We love to look at mountains, sunsets etc. We got to see some beautiful sights such as the river and a deer.

9 months!

I just wanted to write a short blog about how Randy and I have now been married for 9 months! I can't believe how fast time has flown by. In just three more months it will be a YEAR! I had to work today but after I got off Randy took me to dinner. It was fun to just spend some time together. After dinner we went and fed the ducks and geese. It was fun and we got back in the car to come home and our car wouldn't start. Let's just say that ruined my day and attitude. Apparently the battery was dead as a door nail. so we replaced it and now our car runs as good as new. The day got better because later we went to the driving range and got ice cream! It was a fun day minus the car episode. I love you babe and look forward to many more years!

Randy's 22nd Birthday!

Randy turned 22 last Friday. He had a great birthday. I had to go to school all day on his birthday so on Thursday I took him shopping to get his presents and then we went out to dinner. On his actual birthday Randy's mom cooked dinner and then we had a party with cake and ice cream with his parents and family. We then headed over to my grandparents to celebrate with my side of the family. My family came up for the weekend from Utah so they were able to be here for his birthday. We had cake and ice cream there as well. Randy is a huge fan of the movie CARS. So for his birthday I got him cars balloons and decorations for his two cakes. He had a good birthday and now he is one year older and wiser too! I love you babe!

Tractor Fun

Randy had some fun with this huge tractor. He has been helping one of his good friends family dig a pit for a sand volleyball. He borrowed this big tractor from a guy in our ward to get the process done once and for all. He was really excited to get to drive it. Randy is a real country boy and loves tractors and big machinery. He had the time of his life.
