Top 10 of 2009!
Here are some of the exciting things that happened in the year 2009 for Randy and Me. The great thing about they year 2009 is that both of us had our own achievements but better than that we started our own together! Here are the top ten in no particular order:
10- Courtney graduated from UVU and is now at BYU-I.
9- Randy returned home from serving a full time mission in Winnipeg, Canada.
8- Courtney survived yet again a very serious car accident.
7- After Randy returned from his mission we started dating again and it was like he never left.
6- Randy and I got engaged on July 3rd and I started planning our wedding.
5- Randy got an awesome job at a hospital in Blackfoot.
4- I started the education program at BYU-I.
3- We got pet fish-Henry and Ginger.
2- We welcomed a new niece Peyton Mae Smith, and a new nephew Maden Michael Purcell into the family.
1-We were sealed for time and all eternity on August 15th in the Draper Utah Temple. The best day ever I love you babe and am the luckiest girl in the world!

Samuel the Snowman
Randy and I decided to build a snowman because Blackfoot got about five inches of snow. We were waiting for his work party to start and we were really bored. So we went out to the pickup and put on all of our snow clothes and headedto the front yard. I haven't built a snowman in years and it was a ton of fun doing it with my husband. We decided to name him Samuel. He looks a little retarded but it was all part of the fun.

Peyton's Blessing
Sunday, December 20th was a big day for my sister and brother-in-law. They blessed their baby girl, Peyton Mae Smith. My brother-in-law did a great job! Peyton got a little fussy during the blessing but she was hungry and besides she is a baby and babies cry. We took some pictures in the foyer afterwards and they are found below. I can't believe that Peyton is already a month old, she just keeps getting bigger. She is a great baby and I love her so much!

Snowmobiling in Paris

I can't see!!!!
This past Saturday Randy, myself, Jared, Blake, and Danae decided to go snowmobiling up in Island Park. When we first were riding it was a lot of fun. It was really nice outside. After awhile of riding our goggles kept icing over from the freezing rain. We could only ride for two or three minutes at a time before we had to pull over to the side of the trail and de-ice our goggles using our bare hands. We stopped like 45 times and it was enough times that the next days our fingers and hands were sore from scraping the ice off of our goggles. Every time we stopped it seemed like it got colder and colder because of the humidity in the air. Our hands and feet were freezing and it was just miserable. We can't wait for our future snowmobiling trips and you will see posts about them as well but for now let's just say snowmobiling is not fun when you can only ride for two minutes at a time and you can't see worth beans!
This is the windshield of the truck starting to get covered with ice from the freezing rain. We stopped twice just to get the ice off of the windshield in order to see to drive. It was cold enough too that we watched a crack in the window grow from one side to the other in like a minute or less.
This is what you get when you let your wife do your hair!
I just have to say that this was all my wife's idea. She has been wanting to try and make my hair stand up for the longest time. It was finally long enough for her to try. I had to go to work one day and I finally gave in. She sat me down and put in gel, mousse, and hairspray. Let's just say I have never had so much crap in my hair. Of course Courtney wanted to take pictures so I gave into that too. I felt like the biggest goof but we had fun with it! I probably won't do this often but you never know with Courtney! I sure do love her!
