MY SISTERS

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to my awesome and amazing sisters. I was able to go see them this last weekend and just spend time with them and my family. I get to see them pretty often for living three hours away. We talk all the time and catch up. I just wanted to let them know that I love them and that I am so grateful that they are my sisters. I love you guys!

A True Hero

My cousin Bobby has left for his second tour in Iraq. He left last Tuesday and will be back next September. I just wanted to take the time and thank Bobby and all the other men and women in our armed forces. They put their lives on the line everyday for us so that we can have our freedoms. All I can say is that someone has to do it and I am thankful for those people who are braver than me, you guys are all wonderful. Me and Randy, my grandma, and Bobby's parents all went to the airport to see him off. It was an emotional and trying experience. Of course I cried because that is what I do. But I had an unforgettable experience as well. While I was at the airport I was looking around at all the other men and women leaving with my cousin and just thought to myself wow. I thought of all the other families and saw the love and tears while saying goodbye. We got to see all of them walk out of the hangar and load the plane. They took off and were gone. God Bless our troops! We love you!

Greatest Husband EVER!!!

I just wanted to give a shout out to my husband, best friend, confident and so many other things. This guy pictured above is my whole world and I don't know what I would do without him. I love that he loves me for me, including all my flaws and annoying things I do or have. I love that he doesn't care how I look because he tells me everyday that I am beautiful. I love that he supports me and encourages me to pursue my dreams no matter what. I love that he does things with me even though he may not really want to. I love that he watches and loves the same shows I do. I love that he stays up late with me to have One Tree Hill marathons even though he has to get up early to go to work or school. He is the best thing that ever was mine and I am never letting him get away. I love you Randy!

Whale Watching

I think the coolest part of the trip to Washington was when we went whale watching. We all went on a private tour on a boat. We were on the boat for about 4 hours and saw tons of whales. We were watching killer whales aka orcas. We saw whales from what they call J-pod and K-pod. It was so much fun and we all had a blast. It was a beautiful day as well. We traveled about 16 miles to find them, they were heading north towards Canada to hunt salmon. It was really interesting because our guide told us that the whales we saw were the whales that were filmed for the movie FREE WILLY series. So in a sense we saw movie stars. We took tons of pictures so here are just a few. We got really up close and personal with some of the whales. It was a ton of FUN!!!

My Birthday!!!

While we were on vacation I was able to celebrate my 22nd birthday. I can't believe I am that old. I remember as a little girl thinking.....I am never going to be 22....well here it is! My birthday is on August 1st. So this year it was on a fast Sunday. We started out the day by going to church. We came home, ate dinner, and then did my cake and celebration. We hung out for a bit before going to Canada. It was a great birthday and I loved being able to spend it on vacation and with my family! Thanks everyone for a wonderful day and the great birthday wishes.

Canada

On our vacation to Washington we all made a couple of trips to Canada. We went to Vancouer and White Rock. We went to Vancouer and we went and saw the Olympic cauldron, the aquarium, and walked around for a bit. Below are some pictures of our adventures while on a trips to Canada.

Washington Trip

Randy and I had to opportunity to go on a family vacation with Randy's parents, brother and his wife, and their baby Maden. We went to Birch Bay, Washington. We left at midnight on July 28th and drove for 14 hours. We got to our hotel and got settled in. Our hotel was called WorldMark right by the ocean and beach. We were gone for 8 days. We did a ton of activites so our trip is going to be broken up into different parts such as my birthday, our trips to Cananda, the aquarium, whale watching, and some others. We loved being on vacation and like everybody says vacations go by way to fast and it is back to reality. While we were in Birch Bay we hung out, went to the beach, ate ice cream, rode a surrey, whale watching, shopping, played tennis, went to Canada, and lots of other stuff. This blog and the next five or so will be about our fabulous trip with tons of pictures!!!!

Waiting for everyone to head for the beach!!!

My Family Came to Visit

This past weekend my family came up from Utah to visit. My mom, dad, little sister Mikala, older sister Megan, and my niece Peyton came up for five days. My brother-in-law Jeff couldn't come because he had to work, that made me sad. They came up on Wednesday and went home Sunday. We went four-wheeling on Thursday and had a ton of fun. We went up to Iron Bog. It was really hot and we definitely got some sun and were filthy by the end of the day. We mostly just hung out with them every chance we got. On Saturday night my Aunt Selena threw a surprise 40th birthday party for my Uncle Chris. That was a ton of fun. The weekend overall was a blast. I don't get to see my family very often so I was so glad they came up. I love them so much and love when I do get to see them!
