A Little About Us

I was just really bored and I saw this on someones blog that I love to look at, so I thought I would do it on mine! Hope you enjoy!

1) What is your "marriage" anniversary? Engagement anniversay?
We were married on August 15, 2009. We were engaged on July 3, 2009.
2) Where/how did you meet your spouse for the first time?
I met Randy at a Blackfoot High School football game in 2004.
3) How long have you known your spouse?
We have known each for over six years.
4) How long did you date/court before you were engaged?
Well we dated for about four months before Randy left on his mission, we wrote for two years and then dated for about two months after he got home.
5) Do you have any children?
Nope not yet.
6) Do you have any house pets?
Not of our own yet. One day we will get a dog!
7) What are some of your favorite activities together?
Snowmobiling, watching movies, taking walks, four wheeling etc.
8) Do you have a favorite vacation spot?
I would have to say that West Yellowstone would have to be it because that is where we go on vacation every year for a week long snowmobiling trip! We also like Las Vegas just not wheni t is so hot!
9) Where was your first date?
In Island Park. Randy took me snowmobiling.
10) When was your first kiss?
In April of 2007.
11) Who said I love you first?
Randy did.
12) Did you get married in a church?
No, we got married in the Draper Utah Temple.
13) Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Las Vegas
14) How long did you know each other before you started dating?
3 years
15) What do you call each other most of the time?
Babe, Randall, Corny, honey.
16) Where do you work or go to school?
Randy goes to school at EITC and I go to school at BYU-Idaho. He works in Idaho Falls and I work in Blackfoot.
17) Which situation is hardest on you as a couple?
It changes from day to day.
18) Did you go to the same school?
No
19) Are you from the same home town?
No we are not.
20) Who is smarter?
Well I would have to say that I am when it comes to academic things but when it comes to everything else Randy is.
21) Who is more sensitive?
Me
22) Where do you eat out most as a couple?
Texas Roadhouse, Rupes, Cafe Rio
23) What attracted you to him first?
I would have to say his smile

26) What are HIS favorite things and what are HER favorite things?
HIS: snowmobiling, working outside, looking up snow totals on the internet, not being lazy, four wheeling, watching movies with wife.
HER: reading, snowmobiling, watching movies with her husband, surfing the internet.

#23 I am thankful for...

FOOD!!!

I love the feeling it gives me I am hungry.

Feeling full is great because then I can focus on other things.

This may be a little strange to hear but I love food also because

of all the different colors, tastes, and smells. I find it weird because

I am kind of a picky eater. I like what I like and I don't like to try new things.

I am really stubborn when it comes to food just ask anyone who knows me!

I especially like food because I don't usually cook it, my husband does!

I am a very lucky girl!

#22 I am thankful for....

I am thankful for blankets and a heater.

When it is really cold outside I loved to curl

up in a blanket with the heater on and

watch a movie or read a great book!

I like to be warm during the winter for sure

but if the choice came if I would rather be

cold or hot....I would choose cold for sure because you

can always cuddle and layer your clothing!

For day number 21 I am thankful for

BloggIng!!

It is a perfect way to keep in contact with loved ones and friends.

I love that it serves as somewhat of a journal.

I can post great memories, pictures, and thoughts.

It is a great way for my family, whom I live far away from

can see everything that Randy and I are up too!

#19 and #20 I am thankful for....

for day #19 I am thankful for modern day

technology....

Yesterday was kind of a stressful day...

for those of you that know us know pretty much

all about the experience we had yesterday with one of our cars!

I am thankful for the machinery that will fix our car.

For day #20 I am thankful for laughter.....

because without laughter in my life it would suck!

It is great to be able to laugh after something happens. Whenever

I laugh after a situation I think of this phrase

CoMe wHat MaY aNd LoVe It!!!!

This is a motto that I try to live my life after!

#18 I am thankful for....

my car Ellen the Ford Escape! Yes we name our cars. I am thankful for her because she is such a trooper of a car. She gets me and my husband to wherever we neeed to go and back. She is great in the winter because she is 4-wheel drive and so much fun to drive. She may not get the best gas mileage but she is a member of our family!

#17 I am thankful for...

my I-Pod Nano!! I love this portable device that carries many songs. I can listen to it while I walk, run, drive, or do chores. It is a fantastic invention and has made my life most excellent. I know it is a silly thing to be thankful for but I love music and this is always with me!

#16 I am thankful for...

Today I am thankful for my wonderful parents....

I can't even begin to describe in words how

amazing they are.

They have taught me so much, are such an example

to me, provided for me, and just simply been the best!

I miss seeing them everyday and hanging out with them at night.

I miss our chats and living with them. I live about three hours away

but look forward to every Sunday when they call to see how I am doing!

I hope that I can be half the parents to my

future that they have been to me!

#15 I am thankful for....

books. I love to read on my spare time because I learn many new things. I love to learn new things. I love to read especially when I am not forced to read it and do a project on it. Reading helps me to relax and wind down. My favorite thing to do during the winter is curl up in my sweats with a blanket, cup of hot chocolate, and a good book. I would be set for hours. Recently I have been making a list of books I want to read and lets just day that during the winter that is what I am going to do! I HEART BOOKS!!!
