#14 I am thankful for...

these machines!!!! My husbands family are big on snowmobiling. My father-in-law owns four snowmobiles, a huge enclosed trailer, and a big red Ford F-250 superduty powerstroke truck that hauls the machines all winter long! We go snowmobiling a lot. We go on two week long trips to West Yellowstone and Bear Lake. It is a ton of fun! There is nothing like riding in really soft powder because it feels like you are floating on air! I can't wait until we get to go!!! The snowmobilies are like part of the family their names are Louie, Lexie, James, and Willy. The truck and trailer are named Red and Eddie! From the months of December to April you will see lots of posts about our adventures while snowmobiling! Let the craziness begin!!

#13 I am thankful for....

all fo my friends!! All these photos are from the last three or fours years of my life so they are kind of old but that is alright. All these girls have been such influences in my life. I still keep in contact with all of them even though they live all over. From Utah to Montana I love these girls a lot. I just wanted to say that they are special and such examples to me and I am so glad they are my friends. We are all in different places of our lives but we still have tons in common. I just wanted to give a shout out to Ashley Shippen, Ashley Warner, Allie McGinn Allan, Caitlyn Andrus, Christine Chai Britten Dayley, Emilee Newell Harmon, Jakelley Lindsay, Megan Barton and many more! Love you girls and I am so thankful for all of you!

#12 I am thankful for...

Today I am thankful for....
the GoSpeL!!
I am thankful to have the gospel in my life as a
guiding light in a dark world.
I know that Jesus Christ died and atoned for my sins.
I know that without the gospel in my life
I wouldn't be the person I am today and I wouldn't
have been able to go to the temple.
I am also grateful for the scriptures and Holy Ghost.
They are such great tools to have because you can receive
answers from them!
I am a member of
THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS!

For day #11 I am thankful for this white stuff....SNOW!!!! I am thankful for snow because when this white stuff falls it means the mountains are getting pounded and it means we are closer to being able to go snowmobiling!!!
In my family during the winter that is pretty much all we do and all we talk about. There are no words to describe how much fun this activity is and I can't wait for the first ride of the season!!

#9 I am thankful for these bad boys....

For day #9 I am thankful for these bad boys....aka my new cute plaid rain boots. Yesterday wasn't really a good day. It was really bad weather up in Rexburg and they sidewalks all over campus had about 1 1/2 inches of pure slush. Well knowing me I always have to make things complicated and not go according to plan and I fell down...TWICE...as I was walking to my car. Well lets just say I was soaked and I hurt my knee and ankle really bad. I have a big bruis on my knee and it is killing me.
So I went and bought me a pair of rain boots to keep out the water and have some traction. THey are really cute and I can wear them with anything...I can't wait to wear them tomorrow!

#8 I am thankful for...

For day #8 I decided that I am thankful for a WINTER COAT!! I am thankful for this because I am at school in Rexburg, ID as we speak in the freezing cold literally it is like 25 F and the wind is blowing so hard and it is SNOWING!! The snow is sticking and there is about an inch and a half on the ground!
Rexburg during the winter is also known as "iceberg" because it is so flippin cold. Well here is to a long winter full of cold. Glad I got my winter coat as my constant companion.

#7 I am thankful....

I am thankful for these munchkins....my niece Peyton Mae Smith, and nephew Maden Michael Purcell. They are only 16 days apart. Peyton belongs to my sister Megan and brother in law Jeff and Maden belongs to my brother and sister in law Brian and Celia. They are so cute and I love them very much. I see Maden all the time because he just lives in Idaho Falls but I don't get to see Peyton as much which makes me sad but I love her lots! Peyton was born on November 19, 2009. She is my first niece on my side of the family. She is so stinkin cute and has the greatest smile. I receive pictures and updates constantly from my sister, which I am very thankful for. She definitely has a personality of her own and keeps my sister and brother in law very busy. She will be ONE in less than two weeks and I get to see her in three!

This is my one and only nephew Maden. He is such a joy to have in our family and definitely wears me out when I play with him. He is always on the go and discovering new things. He is such a happy baby and laughs and smiles at everything. He was born on December 5, 2009 and will be a year old in less than month! I can't believe how fast time has flown by.
I love these babies so much and am grateful for their little spirits in my own life. They are the cutest!
