Randy, my sister Mikala, and I went for a short drive on Saturday night to look at some Christmas lights. I showed Randy this house that my family found last year. He loves looking at Christmas lights and he loved this house so much he took a video of it. So here is a house that has lights going in tune with Christmas songs. Enjoy!

Temple Square Lights
Randy, myself, my sister Mikala, and my parents all went to Salt Lake on Friday night. My sister and brother in law couldn't come because they just had a baby girl and they didn't want to take her outside. We went out to dinner to Goodwood and then to temple square to see the lights. We do this every year but this year it was really special because Randy had never seen the lights there before. It was really beautiful and you could really feel the spirit of the Lord and Christmas while we were there. I had a little episode though which for those of you who know me this doesn't come as a surprise. I was taking a picture of me and my dad when I dropped my camera and I thought I had broken it. The lens was acting funny and I couldn't get it to shut off. I started to cry because I was really upset so I just put it back in the case and pouted.I thought I was going to have to buy a new one. About half an hour later I took it out of my coat pocket and just thought maybe I will look at see if by chance it would work. Well guess what....miraculously it worked and I was so happy. We had a really great time and it was awesome to spend some quality time with our family.

Decorating Our Christmas Tree

Randy and I went to Walmart to buy some necessities. We came out with what we needed and more. We got our Christmas tree lights, ornaments, and decorations. We bought our Christmas tree a couple of weeks ago. We decided to put our tree up this week because we won't be here for the next two weeks and by that time December will be here. I want you people to understand that usually I would never put up my Christmas tree before Thanksgiving because it is tacky but we did it earlier so it would be up before we left for Utah.
Our Christmas tree has a theme and colors. Our colors we picked out our turquoise, silver, and gold. We bought glittery ornaments of turquoise and silver and just plain little ones of gold. We then got these other ornaments that have sayings or other Christmas ideas. The sayings say JOY, PEACE, LET IT SNOW, MERRY CHRISTMAS, HOHOHO. The other Christmas ornaments are cool looking flowers, a stocking, a tree, and snowflakes. The star on top of the tree is the best part because growing up we never had a tree topper and our star lights up!!!!
The tree turned out really nice and I love it! We are so excited for the holidays to approach and to spend our first Christmas together!
These pictures are of our themed ornaments and star!
